I find the weird elaborate stage that they’re preparing for Obama very odd. It’s a Greek temple - and didn’t they throw Christians to the lions in front of crowds with a backdrop like that?

We’d really have to be concerned if it was a Roman temple…the “closeness” would be too striking. But sometimes, when you have a big closing event, you don’t model it exactly, but you still can send your message, complete with “plausible deniability!”
How about Sarah? And, the “discussion” 3 years hence when there is a women who has had the closest to the top executive type experience, to go with state level executive experience. Unless we “go for the celebrity,” it should be a 2012 lock for the first woman presidental hopeful.
Strategically, it’s an excellent move to push back against utopian dreams with real acts.

Yes, it is. I think it’s funny, now…Obama was fighting Hilary, now he’s going to be fighting Palin. He’s in a no-win where women are concerned, I think - particularly where Hillary’s supporters are. He’ll be damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
Palin sounds better all the time…but you can’t make a silk purse out of a pig’s ear…McCain is still the maverick. He’ll have to do a lot of selling to change my mind…
