Stop the Memorial Blogburst

Rally this Saturday: Stop the crescent mosque!

Blogburst logo, petition

Tom Burnett Sr. and Alec Rawls will be in Somerset PA this weekend to condemn the crescent/broken-circle memorial to Flight 93. Here is Alec’s notice about the press conference that he and Mr. Burnett will host after they speak at the public meeting of the Memorial Project Saturday morning:

…Also on the press conference panel will be Diane Gramley, President of the American Family Association of Pennsylvania, and the Reverend Ron McRae of Johnstown.

In addition to our own statements, Mr. Burnett will read a statement from Congressman John Kline (R-MN), and Alec Rawls will present statements from Rich Davis, founder of the Chester County Victory Movement, and from the president of Muslims Against Sharia Law.

After answering questions for the press, Mr. Burnett and his co-panelists will host a rally to stop the re-hijacking of Flight 93. Members of our informal Western Pennsylvania Compatriots group (who spoke out at the last public meeting) will be in attendance, and some out of town folks will be coming as well.

And check this out: a big color ad in the local paper:

To inform and invite the local populace, a half-page full-color ad will be running in tomorrow’s edition of the Somerset Daily American. It explains how the original Crescent of Embrace design remains completely intact in the Circle of Embrace redesign, which is explicitly described by the Park Service itself as a “broken” circle. That is exactly how architect Paul Murdoch described his original Crescent design.

All the redesign does is include an extra arc of trees that explicitly represents a broken off part of the circle. The unbroken part of the circle (the crescent), remains exactly as it was. It is still a giant Islamic shaped crescent, still pointing to Mecca , as your colleague Kirk Swauger verified a year ago:

Rawls maintains that the midpoint between the tips of the crescent points almost precisely toward “qibla,” the direction to Mecca, which Muslims are supposed to face for prayer.

His claims seem to be backed up by coordinates for the direction of qibla from Somerset that can be found on Islam.com. When superimposed over the crescent in the memorial design, the midpoint points over the Arctic Circle, through Europe toward Mecca.

Except for Kirk’s verification of the Mecca orientation of the crescent (which was not picked up by any other news organization), reporters have not been bothering to check the facts. When our claim that there are to be 44 inscribed translucent blocks emplaced along the flight path was reported a few months ago, Gordon Felt, President of Families of Flight 93 was quoted denying it, but despite this clear conflict of factual claims, no reporter bothered to simply open up the design drawings and count. Can reporters actually be shamed into doing their jobs? Doubtful. They seem to regard actually checking the facts as giving some kind of unfair advantage to the side that is right (which they would be happy do do if the right side was THEIR side).

When the press is in this anti-fact-checking mode, their methodology is just to quote each side. We are trying to take advantage of this behavior by having some of our independent supporters use source documents to fact-check our basic claims, then attest in press releases and at the public meeting that they have personally counted the translucent memorial blocks etcetera.

Co-panelist Diane Gramley will be making such declarations for the cameras. Cao (the organizer of these blogbursts) did some checking from source documents this week and has already posted a powerful press release about her findings that Alec will present at the press conference.

Tom Burnett’s attendance should bring national news coverage. If Tom and Alec can direct some of that coverage to our independent fact checking, it might break the media embargo on fact checking, and once we get the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent out as verified national news, the crescent goose will be cooked.

If you want to participate in our fact-checking drive, Alec has a set of fact checking guides, with links to source documents, at CrescentOfBetrayal.com. Just send him a link to the post or comment in which you attest to your fact-checking results, and he will compile them.

OBAMA - Citizen of the World

Barack Obama is a candidate who wants a one-world government, it would appear from his comments and speeches. If we just look at his speech in Berlin, there are numerous examples that support his one-world view, and also many historical errors. I have enclosed the actual speech below.

The portions that support his one-world views are in red. My comments appear in blue.

——————————————————————————————

Thank you to the citizens of Berlin and to the people of Germany. Let me thank Chancellor Merkel and Foreign Minister Steinmeier for welcoming me earlier today. Thank you Mayor Wowereit, the Berlin Senate, the police, and most of all thank you for this welcome.

I come to Berlin as so many of my countrymen have come before. Tonight, I speak to you not as a candidate for President, but as a citizen — a proud citizen of the United States, and a fellow citizen of the world.

I know that I don’t look like the Americans who’ve previously spoken in this great city. [An obvious attempt to point out the fact that he is black, and therefore you must be racist if you don’t support him. ]

The journey that led me here is improbable. My mother was born in the heartland of America, but my father grew up herding goats in Kenya. His father — my grandfather — was a cook, a domestic servant to the British.
[An attempt to show he comes from humble origins despite his being a wealthy intellectual elitist. Also, reminding everyone, another time, that he comes from a mixed-race family] >> Read more

Iran Hearts The Big O and the Coming “Change”

Ain’t this peachy?

Back to a guy we know and don’t love, OBL said something about strong and weak horses. Guess what? The leaders of Iran know which is which and they will sit down and behave for the next few months, but, come January or not all that long after (probably after the military budget is slashed and the troops are forced home and the “National Security/Obama Youth” gets all the funding pimply faced, idealistic teenagers to become hostages all around the world, but I digress), there will be change we can maybe have to dig out from under, while buring too many dead, here and abroad.

Who is a bigger threat to world peace now? I’m thinking BhO myself.

New bumper sticker: “A Vote for Obama is a Vote for Iranian Nuclear Power!” (and I’m not talking about fixing global warming power, either)

BhO Campaign Misses the Mark

Or was it a “Fact Finding Tour?” My money, or that of his adoring minions?

Nothing says “I DON’T SUPPORT THIS WAR OR THE TROOPS WHO FIGHT IT” like a speech or two and this behavior: If it ain’t a photo op, it ain’t a stop! (said in your best Johnny Cochran voice)

We have gone beyond arrogance. I’m not sure what word is out there in that uncharted, but being explored by BhO these days. There are bits and pieces of this man’s journey to Afghanistan and Iraq and it’s not pretty. First off, what even semi-intelligent person would think anyone might gain credible “foreign affairs/policy/relations” experience by landing in a country and going wheels up in about 24 hours. Part of that time will be taken up with working out at the gym, to boot (maybe he’s seaching for the best work out places around the world?).

What’s going on? He’s getting the right “backdrops” for an entire series of campaign photos. It seems he doesn’t talk with our troops. He talks to them, but…in front of the cameras. You can bet his times spent (however short, the pictures do not tell that story) with world leaders and Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines was sufficient to get the weel composed pictures. In the “key”, at the DFAC, in front of statues.

In one major arena, that of the attributes for a Commander-in-Chief: He ain’t got even a little bit of them. One day, he may have to open his mouth and say “YES, WE CAN!” to attack someone, or at least defend ourselves, and it will be those men and women who he has walked by, declined to visit who will go forth to possible death as a result of that utterance. Not that they will perform with any less professionalism, as we are seeing daily now, despite the Dems best efforts, but it sure won’t get him other than merely polite handshakes when he comes around (supposing he ever would manage to show his face before such warriors).
—–
Update (7/25/08): Whoa! Here’s what a serviceman in Afghanistan had to say…and..it ain’t pretty being the “presumtive C-in-C” from his personal experience. I’m sure more first person stories, in a similar vein, will be rolling out in the next few days, too.
—–
Back to the current events subjects:

Toss onto the heap, him standinig up and telling beer drinking Germans how wrong America has been. That’s sure to bolster the World’s opinion of us alright, along with inspiring others to follow him. Honestly, when I have had leaders who were down on the organization, it was a challenge to get throught the work days. Not at all when I had someone who said “we can do it!”. Oh…and did I mention Michelle Obama does talks the US down here in the US? No? I don’t have to, you are thinking. What a team.

Maybe, I’m being cynical, or, at best rivalling Nostradamus in at least this prediction, but he just might be maneuvring for a big book deal, to raise money for the re-assualt in 2012, because, after all, Clinton, Gore, Carter and Kerry all seem to make money hiking “off shore” and bad mouthing us to anyone who will fill their pockets with cash…

The MSM and the libs can make all the fun they want of a President who will sit, behind closed doors with families of the dead, but they just don’t understand the respect this shows those who are left behind, or the ones who have lost baisc life functions, so others may make jackasses of themselves. There many non-photo op meeting President Bush had, because to have it recorded was not respectful, but the meetings were necessary to thank those who gave their relatives in return for the freedom or many others. President Bush will go down in history as a man who did what leaders do: The Right Thing, despite those who demand adherence to the “popular” opinion.

Look beyond the audience not visitied in this situation. Understand all things to BhO are to be for the political “impact,” not an ounce of comapssion can be squandered away by missing the opportunity to stick in your thumb and pull out a plum while the digital cameras are recording. You who will be thrown under the ever spinning (analogy intended) wheels of the Obama-Rama Bus going round and round, for his political gain had better have your wills filled out and your insurance paid up. Your time is gonna come…and you don’t even have to be lying in a hospital with wounds from combat to be cast adrift.

In the meantime, to keep this from being such a dark discussion, check out The Gospel of Obama for a chuckle.

An Ode the the Boob

An Ode to the Boob

They jiggle they bounce they wiggle and sway
Mounds of perfection on chests as they lay
Whether large ones or small ones or ones in between
Call them breasts call them boobies or fun bags supreme
The size doesn’t matter nor does what they’re named
Flash a pair at a man and he’ll soon be quite tamed
Young lads become speechless and old farts will smile
When a pair is popped out with wink and a smile
We care not if they’re natural or enhanced quite a bit
The thing that we wonder is can we play with the tit
So excuse us our glares our sly looks and our leers
But they’d be so much better if they’d just dispense beers

Update: Will a Forgery Get You Elected?

Update on earlier post - A more detailed analysis of the Barack Obama “certificate of live birth” (COLB) from the State of Hawaii:

It’s bogus.

But, hey…who am I to question “Change” to believe in….

But: What happens if BhO wins the elections, and then is found out to not meet The Constitutional requirements. Oh, what a mess, but I’m sure some are willing to take that risk.

1.3M Voices: “DRILL HERE! DRILL NOW!”

So…Harry Reid…it’s only one step, but are you telling us that more than one step is a “too hard” for America? Yeah, we who went to the moon in a little over 8 years, we who are the engine of the World’s economy, the farmers for the planet, the innovators, who, with less than one percent of our own population, can provide freedom and protection, and disaster relief to the rest of the world.

And to Nancy Pelosi and “It won’t help for 10 years.” Guess what, just by setting the intention is having a major effect right now!

And she calls the President dumb? Well, I’m sure history will have the last laugh about her in this issue.

If you haven’t signed, go to American Solutions and sign up. Send the message to Congress.

Obama wants stormtroopers

Van Helsing mentions it here, WND has an article here.

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

He has backed off of that, ‘big brother’ has disappeared from his speech.

In a post on FreeRepublic.com, Sean Robins explains why he believes it’s likely one of Obama’s handlers counseled him to remove the two lines from the speech and then the senator decided to put them back in.

“Most of the time, when Obama flubs a line and attempts to recover, you can easily spot it,” Robins writes, but in this case, the lines are “delivered clearly, concisely, and succinctly, without any hint that they emanate from a flub.”

Robins speculates the lines were prepared and rehearsed ahead of time, the handler or handlers counseled him to take them out, and “in the moment of the speech, he decided, ‘they’re back in.’”

Robins says that while this is speculation, it points to the need to “pay closer attention to Obama’s speeches, for what is off the cuff, for what his trainers and handlers might not want him to say, but which he will continue to say anyway. We know he’s really good on a fixed script. And we know that he’s really bad on his own.”

You’ve got that right. He’s now being compared to John Kerry as another very accomplished flip flopper.

Loving your country shouldn’t just mean watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Loving your country must mean accepting your responsibility to do your part to change it.

That’s the one thing he’s been consistent on; he doesn’t love America for what she is–he loves her for how she’ll be like Castro’s Cuba one day after we ‘change’ and accept the Global Poverty Act, etc.

I don’t recall that the Nazis ever did something THAT stupid…

But the stormtrooper line about a civilian force has me chuckling all day long.

Pelosi calls Bush a total failure

This is amazing, since that recent gallup poll says that the American people think the democrat-controlled Congress is a failure. They have a devastatingly high disapproval rating of 75%.

So she can blame Bush all she wants; it doesn’t change the fact that they’re doing a bad job.

Not to mention the fact that none of the Presidential candidates who are Senators have done their jobs so far this year.
