I reckon we've got just over four years before the pandemonium starts, and people can't afford to drive their cars, or buy their groceries, or live in what will be 'redundant' suburbia. All products, 99.9% are grown, or manufactured from ten times their weight in oil-based products. The economy is based on oil. When oil quadruples in price, so does the price of living. 2012-2016 will be a time of US rioting, collapse and hardship. We don't have enough time to put into place alternative biofuels. For those of us who love guns so much, you might wanna start stockpiling fuel and ammo, and growing soybeans so you can produce bio-diesal. And a farm, with a supermarket worth of produce. It'll be the only currency you have. Those commandments may be closer to the mark than you think.
