For the last 5 years, we have been witness to the explosions of virtual heads all over this land about a president lying to us. You know, the WMD thing.

Would we all really get just as concerned if we happened to elect one for this time around…who really did lie about something pretty significant, something he did not have to rely on anyone else on the planet to know?

1. Interesting, my only question would be if his dad is only 12.5% black, why is he so dark and African looking? (one of the links had a photo) Lets hope Hillary wins the democratic nomination, at least she is an evil we know.

So, you’re equating the lies Bush told that led us into Iraq, lies that cost thousands of American lives, tens of thousands of Iraqi lives, tens of thousand of casualties on both sides, and trillions of dollars spent…to what the precise percentages of Barack Obama’s linage are in comparison to what he claims they are. How’s that total insanity working out for you?

   Why does Obama’s genetic background matter? I’m at a loss. You think he’s gotten to where he is merely because of the color of his skin?

   And you guys seem a bit too comfortable talking about how “African-looking” people are and how “some Arab people are dark-skinned”. Guess what? Lots of American people are dark-skinned too. They’re called “Americans”.

4. shut up yoohoo, I was talking to xformed…..xformed I, unlike yoohoo, have spent over a year of my life in the middle east and north africa, I have necer seen arabs that dark, I have seen africans that were muslim though, I fear the article may be incorrect based soley on my observation of the photo, which I freely admit is inconclusive at all. Just thought I would point that out. Love your articles….

   Besides moron, Bush did not lie. I was one of those soldiers and we gladly serve(d), unfortunately an unanticipated activity associated with our service was to allow idiots the right of free speech.

   Seems pretty cut and dried to me. And to xformed as well, as that was no doubt the point he was trying to make.

   Doubly wrong–I’m not a moron, and Bush did lie (and does lie). Both obvious to anyone with a brain larger than an oyster’s.

   If you served in our armed forces the last seven years I honor, commend and thank you for that service. But don’t think that an “unanticipated activity associated” with that service was the right of free speech. Our civil rights are central to why the service of U.S. Armed Forces are a beacon of goodness and decency in the world. The reason I get so up in arms about the catastrophe of the Bush Administration (and it’s supporters) is the contempt they show both for those civil rights and for the lives of those who serve in our military and have suffered in the unnecessary war in Iraq.

6. yoohoo, you caught me in a foul mood the other night so I apologize for calling you names, I do not think you are a moron, I do think you are wrong on many points, I disagree with much of what you say, but it is your right to say it. I am aware of free speech being a civil right, but I am also aware that it is our military strength that keeps us free to keep that right, even if I don’t like the way it is used all the time.

7. I believe the answer would be a majority, no. There’s 2 factors against the conservatives. 1/ BHO’s voters and 2/ the mainstream media.

   You can put the facts directly in the faces of his voters and they still won’t get it. You need the media as an outlet to report the lies, the media will not give conservatives the time of day.

   I’m convinced that they don’t care about issues of the likes of what you referenced here.

   If he gets into office (and I choke as I say that), it will take a couple of years before they realize that their financial situation not only hasn’t improved, but it became worse (oops, he lied when he promised to give them hope on their financial situation). It will take time for them to realize that pulling troops out of Iraq will leave the state unstablized and could possibly turn into a breeding ground for Al-Qaeda (another oops, gave false hope that everything will be fine) and it will take some time for them figure out that BHO voted to take the rights away from parents by allowing their little girls to get abortions, during school hours, off of school property, even crossing statelines if need be, without the permission or knowledge of this happening. The kids these days can’t even go on a local field trip without the parent signing in blood the release form.

   While all of this is going down, we’ll be trying to point out the lies that he has told and will continue to tell… and they will be ignored.
