I wondered why that is, too, because it isn't. People who treat AIDS patients don't have to wear gloves. AIDS isn't transmitted by casual contact, or coughing/sneezing. Maybe if a medical professional is giving an injection to an AIDS patient or is performing a procedure that might break the skin or cause bleeding they'd wear gloves. But doctors don't put on biohazard suits before they see someone with AIDS.

Transmitting AIDS through saliva is extremely rare, but the mouth is a potential breeding ground for all sorts of nastiness and it's probably good for all concerned if dentists and hygienists were gloves. 

And Huckabee's candidacy is so dead in the water that not even a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick can save it now.</description>
