Well, it just goes to show, the world isn’t centered around the Bible-Belt. People have their own individual beliefs. Some don’t believe at all. When people eventually understand this, the world will be a better place.

Well just goes to show that hell is in no danger of freezing over, just filling up!

Well possibly Richard, but the worlds’ ‘other’ religions also believe that
non-believers of ‘their’ dogma have a predestined ticket on the Purgatory express.
So EVERYBODY’s going to hell in someone’s eyes. Save the agnostics and non-thiests.
And many of them are non-believers because they don’t appreciate the notion that (probably) billions, 99% of the ’souls’ throughout the world, and history, were created specifically for populating Hellfire. (Because said God/s created a devil, that he/they knew would corrupt man.) Erm, gee. What nice gods, free of those human-specific conditions like sadism, hubris and ego-driven arrogance. One has to ask, was man created in God’s image, or God in man’s? It’s Gods’ turn around in JC that seems truly righteous, but also somewhat hypocritical, as JC stands for everything that the God of the old Testament does not. Confused? I know I am.
I better go outside and start working on that tan…

The difference my friend from down under is that I do not insult anyones religion……..

I suppose what arches my back Rich, is when others think they can impose their religious beliefs/hatred on others (ie onto members of my family) in the name of religious expression/freedom.
But when religious zealouts get a taste of their own medicine. Well, that ain’t hey. So now we’re moving into an era where the majority of society is saying enough is enough. And society is biting back, limiting tax exemptions and applying hate laws to those institutions that spout such virulent dogma. Impediment to free speech? Perhaps.
So when the non-thiests bite back against the perpetual assault of religious conviction, don’t be offended Richard. Just understand why.
