Global warming propaganda notwithstanding, polar bears are in no danger of being driven into extinction by our SUVs, as a report by the National Center for Policy Analysis makes clear.
Moonbats like to pull heartstrings by pretending that the cuddly monsters are threatened. However, a study by Dr. David Legates, director of the University of Delaware’s Center for Climatic Research, found no basis for this claim.
Even the idea that the arctic is getting warmer is debatable. Greenland has been experiencing a cooling trend. Russian coastal stations also fail to show the rising temperatures predicted by computer models.
In some areas, there has been a warming trend, which is hardly alarming, considering that the climate has always fluctuated and always will, whether Al Gore likes it or not. Interestingly, but not all that surprisingly, the polar bear population has actually increased in areas that have been getting warmer, and decreased in areas that have been getting colder. Life likes warmth.
Unfortunately it will take more than facts and common sense to calm liberals out of their condition of deliberately induced climate change hysteria. CNN posted a dozen reader emails on the topic of polar bears being listed as “threatened” under the Endangered Species Act — something that would be done for purely political reasons. Naturally, every single email took the point of view that global warming is real, is caused by humans, is dooming polar bears, and must be stopped by massive government intervention in the economy.
Global warming may be a farce, but global warming hysteria will result in poverty on a scale not seen since the Great Depression if hysterical liberals aren’t distracted by some new fad before they are able to cripple the economy in the name of a few thousand useless and completely unthreatened polar bears.

I live in a Northern climate (not as far north as polar bears) and the winters haven’t been as cold as I remember them as a kid (40 below now and then).
For that I say, “Thank God.” I’d much rather adapt to a warmer planet than try to figure out how to keep from freezing to death. Yeah, human activity is probably contributing to global warming, but there’s no way that CO2 emissions are the major reason as government scientists and the MSM would have us believe. When will these gullible dorks get over the notion that humans can control the climate?
As for the libs and the polar bears, we need to post a few videos of these monsters munching on cute baby seals and the screeching will begin to subside.

Fact: In the 1970’s liberal were scared of global COOLING!
Fact: One volcanic erruption spews more guck in the air than all the human activity the world over! Where’s the lib’s trying to ban global volcanoes?
The U.N. just produced another recent study that proves what Rush Limbaugh’s been saying for years: livestock flatulence produces more greenhouse gasses than driving cars, shall we starve mankind and slaughter the world’s supply of food, AND kill all wild horses, AND all wild buffalo, AND wild boars and pigs, and while we’re at it, every large animal of Africa and Asia?
Wouldn’t the animal “rights” crowd love that?
And so what if this world WERE warming? Perhaps if people built their homes out of brick and concrete more, instead of flimsy materials, then pehaps we would see less damage from catastrophic storms! And HELLO! Stop building homes in flood plains or bellow sea level! I can see the logic of farming low lands, it’s fertile ground, but living below the water level in an area is courting disaster!
Also, there’s evidence that the global climate was at one time tropical, perhaps pre-global flood days, as evidenced by the vegitation found frozen in the arctic. Course, many liberals don’t believe in a literal creation or literal God who has literal control of our planet’s processes! Perhaps if they tried to embrace God, instead of embracing bears and trees, this world would indeed see some change for the better!

I’ve heard and read some stupid comments concerning this topic.
You mock those who believe in global warming yet your rebukes are some of the most ridiculous statements I’ve ever read. “Polar bears munching on baby seals?” So what, that’s called nature and the natural food chain.
So you would rather have the world get so hot that the polar ice caps melt. Less land for all. Gee I wonder what would follow such a tragedy? Most likely famine, widespread disease and war.
Here’s another thought. For those of you who disagree about the topic of global warming. Just for amusement sake, pretend that it is real. What is more important to the world? It’s money and economy or the world itself?
Something else I’d like to point out to your blind conservatives. You believed in WMD’s that were never found. Yet you disbelieve what thousands of scientists tell you. Yes there have been a few scientists that debunk global warming. Then again, there were those “doctors” and “scientists” that cried that tobacco had no lasting ill effects on people.
As long as science is being performed by man, there is always the chance that the answer is fallible. However, the greater the number of scientists that agree, the greater the chance that it’s not a hoax.
Money or the future of the world. What’s more important to you?

GW is Real, as pointed out elsewhere, there was a time all the “scientists” thought the earth was flat. At one time they could grow grapes and make wine in Northern England because it was so warm….and that was before Bush was president. Now its to cold to do so. Cycles happen in nature, it just happens to be getting warmer. Are we having a effect, sure. But I think our effect is minimal.
As for your question is should be Socialism or freedom. Whats more important to you?
