Hooray!
Did they think we would mind?
Michelle Malkin today describes comments from the U.N. and mentions how the U.N. is complaining about the United States and it’s people. The absolutely classic quote from the New York Slimes has to be:
“The prevailing practice of seeking to use the U.N. almost by stealth as a diplomatic tool while failing to stand up for it against its domestic critics is simply not sustainable,” said the deputy, Mark Malloch Brown. “You will lose the U.N. one way or another.”
I’m ready to throw a party. Did you catch that last bit? We might lose the U.N.!
How soon can we expect them to start packing? Will they dissolve or just move to France? How much can we expect in cash for income from selling their property in NYC? Are we allowed to take potshots at them as they leave, once their “diplomatic immunity” is removed?
Oh, what fun this could be.
Never mind, I just realized that it was the U.N. talking — and there’s little chance of them actually speaking the truth.
