Is Joel Benin. As per another great article over at Frontpage Magazine, which summarizes a lawsuit that Benin brought against the Center for the Study of Popular Culture for using a copyrighted picture on the cover of a PAMPHLET.
Horowitz published a pamphlet called “Campus Support for Terrorism” that pictured Benin (among others) on its cover. To make his legal harassment suit possible, Benin had the copyright for the photo which belonged to someone else assigned to him after the fact.
Another example of leftist legal harrassment. How many people have purchased that pamphlet, and how many are going to make sure they get it now?
Here is the introduction taken from that pamphlet, worthy of a read, a printout and dessiminating to your ‘brigade”. The pamphlet is only $10.00 and has some great information in it…I ordered myself a copy to make sure.
And now, strangely enough, that pamphlet is missing from David’s bookstore. Is it because of this goofy lawsuit? Probably. They will stop at nothing to silence our voices, won’t they? It constantly amazes me.
Part of the introduction refers to yet ANOTHER example of a Columbia University professor sympathizing with terrorists and hating America:
On university campuses across the country, tenured radicals teach their students that “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter,” and that America is “the world’s greatest terrorist state.” The Middle Eastern Studies Association and more than 200 “Peace Studies” programs share the view that our terrorist enemies, however regrettable their public relations sense, are in fact the voice of the world’s “oppressed” and that by challenging the United States they are advancing the cause of “social justice.”[1] Nor is the activity of these faculty radicals confined to academic theory. On every major American campus, left-wing professors are busily organizing anti-American “teach-ins” and demonstrations against the war, and providing their students with academic credit for joining the radical cause.
September 11, 2001, is burned into the nation’s memory as a day of infamy and terror. Yet within weeks of this horror, protests were organized on more than 150 American college campuses opposing an American military response in advance. Columbia University Marxist Eric Foner, a past president of both the American Historical Association and the Organization of American Historians, declared, “I’m not sure which is more frightening: the horror that engulfed New York City or the apocalyptic rhetoric emanating daily from the White House.” As President Bush vowed to depose the totalitarian theocracy that had given al-Qaeda a military base of operations and bring the terrorists to justice, professors denounced America as “the greatest terrorist state”; lecturers at the City University of New York condemned “American imperialism” as the root cause of the attack; and Brown University academics chanted, “one, two, three, four, we don’t want a racist war!”[2] Thus, before the final death count had been tallied in the worst act of terrorism in American history, the campus Left had already launched a pre-emptive strike against America’s effort to defend itself.
Emphasis mine. Read the introduction and pick up the pamphlet (if you can find it now) and let’s continue pointing out what’s going on at our Universities since many in the media are products of Columbia’s journalism school and other elitist universities holding the same beliefs as Eric Foner, etc.
Colleges and universities are carefully cultivating students who possess exceptional mental abilities from well-bred families with international leanings to be granted special scholarships for special training in internationalism. Does the term Rhodes Scholarship ring any bells?
This is; in short; indoctrination into accepting the idea that only a one-world government can put an end to recurring wars and strife.
One of the reasons that the United Nations’ role seems to be increasing in spite of its incredible corruption and terrorist and communist appeasing.
