It is official, John G. Roberts has been Confirmed by the Senate to become our next Chief Justice of the United States by a vote of 78 - 22.
Now all that needs to be done, is the swearing in of our next Chief Justice. Congratulations John G. Roberts, we all have high hopes for our future.

A lot of people are complaining that they don’t know how he plans to vote on big issues like abortion. I think he took the right tack - not answering any questions.
I’m a little uneasy that he might bring the country further to the right, but there aren’t many people more qualified than he is.

Ruth Bader-Ginsburg didn’t answer any questions on anything that may come before the court. She actually did a great thing by not answering. Now, anyone nominated has an easier time not answering questions that shouldn’t be asked in the first place.
