I don’t know about your community, but some of the schools in this area have strict “no baggy pants” rules. The punishment for this is expulsion in some cases. So, what makes them so strict about it? Maybe all those fuddy-duddies just hate that gangsta’ rapper fly stylin’. More likely than that is the chance they’ve seen this video:
NOTE: This might not run normally on your computer. You may need to download the Divx Player/Codec.
There were a total of 12 guns and a clip in the boy’s pants. Reason enough to ban baggy pants?

The video is a real eye opener. However, the ACLU will be front and center if you tell students they can’t dress as they want.

That, ThirdWaveDave, is precisely one more reason why the ACLU must be bulldozed. See here for more information on STOP THE ACLU! if you’re not a member of the blogroll/blogburst yet, but want to be.

About that dress code…
This video courtesy of The Wide Awakes is kind of an eye opener. Man, I guess I’m just getting old.

I hope they ban that old and overextended 90’s look from school.I grew up with Hip Hip and this shit they have now is nothing more than a cesspool of depravity. All these so-called MC’s have no originality, they sound like all those 45 records we used to listen to when you change the speed on the record player to 33.I remember LL Cool J’s “Rock the bells”SugarGangs”Rappers Delight”RUN DMC’s”Sucker MC’s”and a few others, being GEN Xer this was what hip hop was, fifty cent, nelly, and these others are nothing but a bunch of whack MC’s.

Woot!!!
That whole video in its entirety is in Michael Moore’s “Bowling for Columbine”. It is a shame if you let the hype keep you from seeing it.

That is powerful stuff…I can more then understand the ban. For me though the next step, and the one I would support even more, is that all girls should be required to wear micro mini’s where they have no place to hide the clips for their now normally dressed boyfriends.

The video was eyeopening for me and I can more then see and understand why they would ban the baggy pants. For me the though, and one I would support, is that all girls have to wear micro mini’s where they can not hide the clips or guns for their now properly dressed boyfriends. Just a idea….

I’m sure Michael Jackson would agree with you…just with the micro-minis on the boys….Just a thought…okay, a SICK thought.

Jeremy you are sicko….a funny sicko…but a sicko none the less.
Seriously my experiance has been that if you limit the options for the boys that the girls will just become the carries of the contraband, be it alcohol, drugs, weapons, etc.
