My political philosophy is simple: Classic conservatism. Small government (well, at least as small as humanly possible), strong defense, pro-American foreign policy. I’m not into issues (do I sound wonkish to you?) Politics is my meat.

I lived and worked in Washington D.C. for 7 years back in to go-go 80’s. During that time, I was employed mostly as a writer for various conservative political action groups. Writing about the personalities as well as the grips and handholds that comprise what’s now become the mud wrestling of American politics is endlessly fascinating to me.

Eventually, when I grow up, I’d like to write for a living (Who wouldn’t!). Until then, I’ll keep fisking the moonbats right smartly and commenting on the endless entertainment that is American politics.
